California is a two-party consent state. Recording conversations without all parties' consent may violate California law. CrashCompass provides voice dictation features for the purpose of recording your own statement and recollection — not for recording other parties without their knowledge. Users are solely responsible for complying with all applicable recording laws in their jurisdiction.
CrashCompass participates in affiliate programs with traffic school providers. We may earn a commission when users enroll in traffic school through links provided in the app. This does not affect the objectivity of our recommendations or the price users pay. All affiliate relationships are disclosed within the app.
CrashCompass integrates with third-party services including OpenAI (voice transcription), Google Places (attorney and school search), and Traffic101 (traffic school enrollment). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. CrashCompass is not responsible for the actions, content, or privacy practices of third-party services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CrashCompass and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to:
